Small Business Administration (SBA)

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)

The Federal Government recently passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act which will allocate nearly $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. The SBA’s PPP provides small businesses access to capital for payroll and other overhead costs. Funds are limited and subject to availability from the SBA.

Due to high demand, we are only accepting applications from existing Sterling National Bank clients at this time.

We are currently experiencing a high volume of applications. Please be patient as we will process all applications as expeditiously as possible.

Community Support

While working with our nonprofit partners, the Sterling Charitable Foundation has identified that what our communities need most now is access to healthy food. We are therefore making significant contributions to community-based organizations that we believe have the greatest potential for getting food into the hands of our neighbors in need, including City Meals on Wheels, Island Harvest Food Bank, Feeding Westchester, and Rockland Meals on Wheels.
