SterlingConnect presents a picture of all your accounts and services in a consolidated format. You’ll be able to view total balances, look into individual accounts, search for specific transactions, and much more. Equally important, signing in to SterlingConnect after August 13 will give you immediate access to all your online transaction capabilities, like paying bills and transferring funds, with no separate sign-in required. SterlingConnect will become your single gateway to all things digital at Sterling, and it will make managing your money simpler, clearer and more intuitive.
In terms of capabilities like online banking and bill pay, you’ll find that the similarities far outweigh the differences. Both systems do an excellent job of letting you pay bills, arrange internal transfers, order checks, and take care of other routine banking tasks. But your new bill pay service does give you one important advantage: You’ll now specify a “Deliver By” date for all your bill payments, and funds will no longer be withdrawn the moment you initiate payments – instead, we’ll wait until your payment is deposited into the recipient’s account.

Bill Pay FAQs
Yes, all your payee data will appear automatically, as will your recurring and future-dated payments. However, we highly recommend that you double check and confirm the accuracy of these future payments on your current system on or before August 10 to help assure an accurate transfer of your future payments.
Yes. For security reasons, only the last four digits of the account number are displayed in the summary, but the full account number is used for processing.
Yes. You will now designate each payment’s due date, called the "Deliver By" date. Your funds will not be withdrawn until your payment is deposited into the recipient’s account by the payee. So, you no longer need to schedule payments to be sent a few days in advance to allow for processing time – and your money will stay in your account longer. (Check payments will be mailed with sufficient time to reach the recipient by the “Deliver By” date.)
In the new system, the “Deliver By” date is the date it will arrive at the payee. (For your convenience, we display the earliest date your payment could arrive at the payee when you initiate each payment. You can adjust that date further out if you wish.)
Bill Pay history through August 10 will be viewable in your checking transaction history. All new bill payment history will be available within the bill pay section.
Nicknames were not transferred over to the new system. You will need to enter any account nicknames to your payee information.
Yes, this service is still available but will need to be re-established on or after August 13. Any company that offers eBills will have a clickable icon that says, “GET BILL” to the left of the Payee Name.
