Enhancements to your accounts and services are coming soon
Important information about the transition will be available on this website. Please check back often as we will be making updates regularly.
Key Things to Know
In early June, websterbank.com will have a new look and feel. You will be able to easily access your Webster accounts.
New account features and services
We will aim to make the transition seamless. Your new account features and benefits taking effect on July 24 will be comparable to what you have today. In most cases, your account numbers will not change, and you can continue to use your current debit card.
What to expect
Banking centers will be closed the weekend of July 22 and 23. Our online, mobile and automated telephone banking services will also be unavailable from the evening of Friday, July 21 through the morning of Monday, July 24. Your debit cards will continue to work at the point of sale, and you can make debit card cash withdrawals at ATMs (though some limits may apply).
A new digital banking experience
Beginning July 24, you’ll find a new online banking experience. Our updated online banking platform puts the emphasis on ease, security, and convenience.
Answers to your questions
Can you tell me more about why this is happening?
We strive to provide the very best banking experience to our clients and are aligning our core banking platforms to meet our clients' needs. Our goal is not just to meet your banking needs today, but to anticipate your future needs and expectations as well. That's a higher standard of banking, and it's what guides us to make updates of this kind at Webster.
How is my account changing?
When our new systems go live on Monday, July 24, your checking, savings and money market accounts will have a new product name. In some cases, the fee structure may be slightly different. In addition, there will be a new online and mobile banking platform, so your digital experience will be different.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for the system changes?
Please review the materials we provide you, and if you have questions, reach out to your local banker or give us a call. Keep in mind that there will be limited banking access over transition weekend, July 22-23, so please plan accordingly. Online, mobile and the automated telephone banking services will be unavailable as of the evening of Friday, July 21. Prior to transition weekend, you can keep banking as usual – you’ll be able to use your same checks and debit cards, pay your bills online as usual, and rely on any automated transactions you have scheduled.
What if I don’t like the account adjustments you’re making?
While our goal is to give you accounts and services that are comparable to what you have now, our top priority is to make sure we’re meeting your financial needs. Just give us a call or visit your nearest Webster banking center and we will be happy to work with you to ensure that you have the account(s) and services that best fit your lifestyle.
